2027 marks 30 years of Bruiser Theatre Company, and we’re kicking off our birthday celebrations by bringing Murder For Two back to the stage and you’re all invited!
Following its previous success, this award-winning Broadway musical returns to the NI venues in Spring 2027 - starting with the Lyric, with more dates to be announced soon.
When famous novelist Arthur Whitney is found dead at his birthday party, it’s time to call in the detectives.
Unfortunately, they’re out of town.
Enter Officer Marcus Moscowicz, a neighbourhood cop with dreams of climbing the ranks. With the clock ticking, Marcus must prove his super-sleuthing skills and solve the crime before the real detective arrives.
Between them, they take on thirteen characters — and the piano — in a high-energy musical whodunit packed with music, mayhem and murder.
A loving homage to the canon of murder mystery plays, Murder For Two is gloriously silly, devilishly clever and fantastically funny.

So, as we reach this very special milestone, we’re delighted to celebrate with a show that has all the energy, invention and theatrical mischief you’ve come to expect from Bruiser.
And what better way to mark 30 years than with a murder?
The first performances are already on sale, with a preview on 15th April 2027 and press night on 16th April 2027. The production is suitable for ages 12+ and runs for 1 hour 40 minutes with no interval.
