Bruiser Facilitation Skill Sharing Day- 28th June 2025, The MAC, Belfast
Bruiser would like to extend an invitation to our Facilitation Skill-sharing Day, at the MAC, Belfast, from 10am-3pm, on Saturday 28th June.
We are welcoming workshop leaders, teachers, performers and facilitation experts, participants from all stages of their Facilitation journey, full-timers to amateur enthusiasts! We would like you to join us for a day of playing, practice and discussion. In the morning our Education Team will lead a workshop on Bruiser’s approach to Theatre facilitation, after lunch we will invite our participants to share warm-up technique, exercises, extensions, and games. The floor will be open to try running an activity of your own. Across the day, expect discussions on exercises, approach and ethos.
For artists with an interest in Facilitation, we hope this day will serve as a safe supportive space to come and practice your craft, in a room full of eager beavers. For full-time facilitators, we hope to share our outlook and toolbox of workshop skills with you, because there’s always more we can learn from each other. For us, this will be a chance to meet and network with facilitators of all levels of experience, and join in the share of practice and craft.
Bruiser Theatre Company is an accredited practitioner, studied in schools across Northern Ireland. We run year-round education and training programmes, and provide facilitation support in community enrichment and youth engagement projects.
Attendance is completely free of charge thanks to the support of The MAC, but spaces are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment.
