What is The Bruiser START Academy?

This entry level course is designed for young people who love the idea of performing, but may not have had the chance to be on stage before. This course bridges the gap and is aimed at confidence building through performance.

During the course, you'll explore Bruiser's unique physical style, voice and dance; all culminating in a showcase performance for your family and friends.

Please note that places are limited and will first be allocated to those without a background in theatre before considering other candidates. We particularly welcome applications from neurodivergent young people, and are keen to work with parents/guardians to best adapt the course to suit their particular needs.

Teacher Referrals The Bruiser START Academy

We are asking teachers to refer students who they think may be suitable for The Bruiser START Academy, to remove the daunting audition process, and encourage participation. We are particularly interested in working with young people who may have specific educational / behavioural needs, low confidence or may be overlooked in performing arts sessions.

Overall it was a fantastic workshop, the girls thoroughly enjoyed it.” - Strathearn College
