Brave & Bold is a digital monologue and duologue competition for young people across Northern Ireland.
We want to see brave & bold performances from emerging young actors aged 12-18, and create an opportunity for young actors to showcase their talent.
There are two categories: Ages 12-15 and Ages 16-18
We are only accepting submissions from young people aged 12-18 based in Northern Ireland, so please only apply if you fit this criteria.
Register to Brave & Bold online under the relevant category by filling out the application form.
Record yourself performing your monologue or duologue and submit it by the deadline.
We are looking for performances that are brave and bold, and show what those words really mean to you. You can choose a monologue/duologue from any play; classic or contemporary. All we ask is that it 2-3 minutes long and that there aren't any distractions in the background (a plain background is best).
All competitors will receive personalised, constructive feedback from our team. We are committed to the professional development of young people in the arts, and want to provide an opportunity to get motivated and start creating.
Our team will select the top finalists, who will all have their monologues and duologues showcased on our website!
Registration costs is £10 for monologue (Total cost for one person), £15 for a duologue (Total cost for two people). You can pay online via card when you complete the application form. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
